As the Outreach Lead, you are VegTO’s chief community ambassador! Working within the Marketing & Sponsorship Committee, you build meaningful local connections by bringing VegTO’s vibrant presence to external festivals, fairs, and events across the GTA.
Assist the Board in meeting its responsibilities with regard to governance policy development for the organization, board and committee recruitment and training, and monitoring and evaluation of the Board's activities.
As the Grants Lead, you find, win, and steward the institutional funding that powers VegTO’s mission! You research foundation, corporate, and government grant opportunities, write compelling applications, and make sure VegTO honours every commitment it makes to a funder – protecting our funder relationships and keeping VegTO eligible for renewed and future support.
As the Donor Database & Receipting Lead, you are the keeper of VegTO’s donor and member records. Your accuracy and attention to detail ensure every gift is properly recorded, every donor receives their tax receipt promptly, and the committee has the clean data it needs to make good decisions
As the Membership & Donor Stewardship Lead, you make sure every VegTO member and donor feels seen, valued, and excited to stay involved. From welcoming a new member to thanking a long-time monthly donor, your work builds the loyalty and trust that keeps our community-funded mission strong.
As the Individual & Monthly Giving Lead, you help keep VegTO’s programs and advocacy work funded by inspiring everyday Torontonians to give! You plan and execute the campaigns that turn passionate supporters into recurring donors, ensuring VegTO has the sustainable base of individual support it needs to grow its mission.
Ensure VegTO’s website adheres to VegTO’s brand guidelines, is optimized for our community, and aligned with VegTOs strategic plan.
Ensure the promotion of VegTO programs, events and initiatives through digital channels aligned with the overall marketing strategy and VegTO’s strategic plan.
Ensure that VegTO’s marketing systems run smoothly and efficiently and that data is captured properly to ensure robust performance reporting.
As an Outreach Volunteer, you are the welcoming face of VegTO at community events! Working alongside the Outreach Lead, you represent VegTO at external events across the GTA and at VegTO-hosted gatherings. By greeting event attendees with enthusiasm, sharing information about our programs and events, and inviting people to get involved through volunteering and donations, you help amplify VegTO’s reach and build a vibrant, connected community.
You are the welcoming face and vital energy of VegTO on the ground! By directly engaging with the public and supporting behind-the-scenes logistics, you ensure our events run smoothly and successfully.
VegTO is on the traditional territory of many nations, including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples. We also acknowledge that Toronto is covered by Treaty 13 with the Mississaugas of the Credit.
