Veganuary 2022 – Veg Influencer Roundup!

During Veganuary, we posted vegan and veg-friendly influencers every week who we think you should definitely be following (that is, if you aren’t already!)

In case you missed these posts or aren’t on social media, here is our Veganuary Influencer Roundup. All of these influencers are also either Toronto locals or Canadian!

Toronto

Vegan Yums: Always prioritizing fun and humor, Taylor and Marley welcome viewers no matter where they are in their journey and empower them to make positive lifestyle changes!

Avra Epstein: Great vegan recipes, hot-to’s and grocery hauls. Plus, pre-COVID she organised great vegan events in TO!

Two Market Girls: They make yummy plant-based desserts, comfort food and junk food with as many whole food ingredients as possible!

Candice Hutchings AKA The Edgy Veg: Delicious comfort food, veganised! We’re talking cheeses, meats, eggs, all made out of simple ingredients!

Lisa Le AKA The Viet Vegan: Great and approachable Vietnamese recipes, grocery shopping hauls, Hamilton area restaurant recs, and real talk about intersectional issues.

Tory Halpin: Vegan parenting tips from a mum with two little ones! Plus, her photos are gorgeous!

Sam Turnbull AKA itdoesnttastelikechicken: Every one of her recipes we’ve made have been amazing! They’re simple, cheap and so delicious.

Ally Lazare: Amazing recipes! Ally is a force in the Toronto vegan scene, and her recipes are delicious and simple too!

Esther the Wonder Pig: She is always positive, is a fashion icon and is a great ambassador for farmed pigs everywhere.

Teri-Ann Carty: Gorgeous photos and delicious healthy recipies of all kinds. Plus, we’ve taken her yoga class and it’s awesome!

Coach Kimberly Carroll: Kimberly makes everyone feel welcome with her positivity and energy. Her coaching is approachable no matter where you are on your veg journey.

Samantha Mirachi: A vegan therapist, Samantha posts relatable content about mental health and self-care for Millenials and Gen Z.

Jaclyn Forbes: This Toronto-based vegan content creator posts makeup tutorials, recipes, vlogs and more!

Canada

Cheap Lazy Vegan: True to her name, they make quick and cheap recipes, as well as veganised Korean dishes. Rose has a Youtube page too – check it out!

John Rush: As a CFL player, he crushes myths about veganism and pro sports. Also, he has adorable dogs!

Lloyd Rose AKA plantcrazii: Amazing recipes, especially all of his vegan meats, and crispy tofu dishes. They’re simple and delicious!

Pamela Fergusson RD: Real vegan nutrition information from an actual vegan! Pamela also speaks about raising vegan kids.

Melanie McDonald AKA A Virtual Vegan: Wholesome veganised classic comfort recipes that are simple to make and just as tasty as the originals.

Jamie AKA anothereffingvegan: He uses humor and memes to connect with members of the vegan community with relatable content!
