RC Crew Q & A:
Meet Jen, she has been volunteering in the RC since December, and is a founding member of TVA's TVP.
Q: As a new vegetarian and now vegan, how as TVA and the RC helped you?
A: First I would like to say thank you to TVA and the RC – you helped me follow through with, and sustain my choice. Almost all of my friends and family (at the beginning and still today) are uninterested or flat-out discouraging, so when I expressed to the Saturday RC crew how pumped I was about being vegetarian and how I felt it was important for me to get involved, they took me in and fed me pie! From learning what to cook, to how to deal with frustrating inquiries, TVA and the RC were there!
Q: What is your favorite resource?
A: Why, it's the volunteers! To have a community of people to draw knowledge, support and inspiration from, and to work and grow with, is a wonderful thing. I hope I can be of service to others this way too.
Q: Why should people listen to the Podcast?
Listen to TVP if you dare,
Listen to TVP if you care.
Listen to it day or night,
It's sure to get a lot of hype!
