The names Larra Skye and Kevin Zarnett first appeared together in 2006, as each musician contributed a Beatles song in support of a membership drive for radio station CIUT 89.5 FM. At the time, Larra’s debut album “The World Disappears” was the #1 bestselling independent jazz album for music retailer HMV, and her authentic, expressive voice and easygoing stage presence won her acclaim as a rising star on the jazz scene. Meanwhile, Kevin was garnering kudos from roots music publications for both his vocals and songwriting as leader of The Complements, while becoming guitarist of note with Kirsten Jones (named by Billboard Canada as one to watch in 2010) and a go-to songwriter for projects by other Canadian artists. Their music has appeared on radio worldwide, and they have performed across Canada, on television, in clubs, theatres and festivals, sharing the stage with the likes of Chantal Kreviazuk, Jim Cuddy, Sarah Harmer, Lisa Brokop and Corb Lund. Now they are combining their talents to make the musical element of your event shine with golden harmonies and delicate guitar interplay.
