Toronto Vegetarian Brunch & Breakfast guide

[Image: Get Real's waffle dish served as part of their brunch menu. ]

It is always a treat to go out on the town for a relaxing breakfast or brunch. Fortunately, there are vegetarian and vegan restaurants that open early and serve delicious, healthy and often creative dishes. Such places are a welcome alternative to the mainstream brunch spots that rely heavily on eggs and bacon.

Best bets – Downtown, try all three Fresh locations for their weekend vegan brunch. Sadie’s is a new vegetarian brunch spot on Adelaide open daily.  Hibiscus, in Kensington Market, doesn't open till noon (2pm on Sunday), but serves both vegetarian and vegan crepes. In the Annex, try LIVE's Sunday brunch that includes raw delicacies.

Make your own – See our breakfast and brunch page for recipes and tips.

Below is a complete list of Toronto places that serve brunch or breakfast. You may wish to call ahead. Some only serve brunch on certain days.  Click on the company name to be taken to a location map and more information about them.
