Queen/Dufferin Area http://www.meghantelpner.com/classes/ 6-Week Cooking Program Location: 26 Noble Street, Unit 6 (Queen and Dufferin area) Time: 6:30-9:30 pm unless otherwise indicated Class Capacity: 8-12 Why do I teach as extended cooking programs rather than just a single class? Well, think of those beautiful tables set in the Tuscan country-side. Great big long tables laden with the most delicious of food and the table surrounded by a group of amazing, creative, interesting and diverse people all with a passion for great food, health and an open mind. Now transfer that table to a brilliantly vibrant artist’s loft in downtown Toronto. Welcome to the Love In The Kitchen Academy! I teach these extended programs because enjoying a meal with friends is as health promoting as the food we eat. These cooking programs build that sense of community and friendships are formed and I love that! The classes begin with a brief chitty chat on the topic of the class, usually accompanied by a little demo of some kind. Then we pick our recipes and dive in to the cooking! The classes invite a hands-on cooking experience with the opportunity to play in the kitchen, making and enjoying great food with like-minded people. In each class, we create a complete meal that includes an appetizer, soup, salad, side dish, main course and dessert (now obviously this varies sometimes- rules are boring!) Once the cooking is done, we sit down together to enjoy the amazingly delicious and healthful meal. For more information and to register, visit www.meghantelpner.com/classes/
