Low Glycemic Eating For Optimal Health - Workshop Cost: $65.00 per person (Includes a copy of 5 Days Low Glycemic Eating tutorial) Location: 26 Nobel Street, Unit 6, Toronto (Queen and Dufferin Area) Class Capacity: 10 It is very possible that sticking with low glycemic eating might just be the easiest, most sustainable, most satisfying and most health promoting way of eating. This is certainly not a diet! We don’t do diets over here. What do focus on is health and when we are able to maintain steady blood sugar levels we elevate our mood, our feelings of satiety after meals, stabilize energy levels, regulate hormones and substantially decrease our risk of chronic diseases like heart disease and cancer. I can’t tell you too much here or there will be nothing to share in the workshop. During this workshop, you’ll enjoy a low-glycemic brunch prepared right before your very eyes during this workshop! As Meghan talks and teaches, she cooks up a storm using the foods she’ll be teaching you all about. How awesome is that? Topics to be discussed include: *The glycemic index- what is it and what does it mean? *How to lower the glycemic load of your favourite dishes/meals/foods *Importance of maintaining steady blood sugar *Tips and tricks for staying balanced *Kicking those bad sugar habits (or should we call them addictions) *Get a full 5-day meal plan with all the recipes and some alternative options *Sample delicious foods prepared fresh during the workshop For more information and to register, visit www.meghantelpner.com/classes/
